Sheriff's Department Audits

In accordance with 24 V.S.A. §290b(e), each Sheriff’s Department is required to be audited once every two years by a public accounting firm, with the cost of these audits shared by the State Auditor’s Office, the Secretary of Administration, and the respective Sheriff’s Department.
