Who should attend this program:

Individuals who are interested the current Office of Management and Budget updates pertaining to recent guidance for grants outlined in the President’s Management Agenda and 2020 Compliance Supplement. Additionally, individuals seeking information on ethics requirements and independence standards.

Training Overview:

In these sessions we will be focused on current ethics requirements and independence standards, as well as review of various situations and circumstances and their implications. We will also cover the updated guidance from the Federal Office of Management and Budget (OMB). OMB released the updated guidance during August 2020.

At the end of the session, you will be able to:

  • Identify current ethics requirements.
  • Recognize current independence standards.
  • State the areas updated in Federal grant and agreement laws to respond to the President's Management Agenda.
  • Describe the changes and updates to the 2020 Compliance Supplement and the effect on the 2020 Single Audit.
