As of September 15, 2020, Vermont hospitals have received $304.9 million through the CARES Act1 and the Payroll Protection and Health Care Enhancement Act. It includes accelerated and advance payments to health care providers and suppliers, which the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is authorized to make during a public health emergency.
